Asset Node
The Asset node is the starting point for most workflows. It lets you pull images, videos, and other media from your asset library directly into the canvas so that downstream nodes can use them as inputs.
What It Does
You use the Asset node to source any media file stored in your XainFlow asset library. When you add an Asset node to your workflow, you select an asset type and then browse or search your library to pick the specific file. The node outputs that file as a connection you can route into generation, editing, or composition nodes.
Configuration
| Parameter | Description | Options |
|---|---|---|
| Asset Type | The category of asset to source | character, product, background, logo, figma, creation, image, video |
| Selected Asset | The specific file chosen from your library | Browse or search within the selected type |
Asset Types
| Type | Typical Use Case |
|---|---|
character | Character references for consistent identity across generations |
product | Product photos for marketing and e-commerce content |
background | Scene backgrounds for compositions |
logo | Brand logos for overlays and compositions |
figma | Designs imported from Figma for reference |
creation | Previously generated assets saved to your library |
image | General-purpose images |
video | Video clips for video-to-video workflows |
Usage
- Drag an Asset node onto the canvas.
- Select the Asset Type that matches the media you need.
- Browse your library and choose the specific file.
- Connect the Asset node's output to the input of the next node in your workflow (for example, a Prompt Generator or Image Generator).
tip
Organize your library with clear naming conventions and asset types so you can find the right file quickly when building workflows.
