Backgrounds & Logos
Background and logo assets provide the environmental and branding layers for your AI-generated content. Backgrounds set the scene, while logos maintain brand presence across outputs.
Backgrounds
Background assets define the environment or setting for your generated images. Rather than describing a scene from scratch each time, you can save background references and reuse them.
Creating a Background Asset
- Navigate to Assets in the sidebar.
- Click Upload and select an image that represents the scene or environment you want.
- Choose Background as the asset type.
- Give the background a name and optional description.
- Click Save.
To find your backgrounds later, use the Backgrounds filter chip at the top of the library.
When to Use Backgrounds
- Product shots in consistent environments (studio, outdoor, lifestyle settings)
- Campaign imagery with a unified visual theme
- Social media content that shares a common backdrop
Logos
Logo assets store your brand marks for compositing into generated content. Once uploaded, you can reference a logo in any workflow that needs brand identification.
Creating a Logo Asset
- Navigate to Assets in the sidebar.
- Click Upload and select a logo file -- transparent PNGs or SVGs work best.
- Choose Logo as the asset type.
- Give the logo a name.
- Click Save.
To find your logos later, use the Logos filter chip at the top of the library.
Use the Vectorizer to convert a raster logo to SVG before uploading. SVG logos scale cleanly to any size without quality loss.
Brand Logo Hierarchy
XainFlow distinguishes between two scopes for the active brand logo used by AI agents and prompt injection:
| Scope | Where It Applies | How to Set |
|---|---|---|
| Workspace logo | Default for every project in the workspace | Settings > Workspace > Branding |
| Project logo | Overrides the workspace logo for one project only | Project Settings > Branding |
The project logo always takes precedence over the workspace logo. If a project has no logo set, the workspace logo is used. The active logo is automatically injected into:
- The Flow Studio Agent for on-brand workflow suggestions
- The Main Agent when creating branded content
- MCP context returned by
xainflow_get_context
To remove a logo, click Clear logo in the branding panel of the corresponding scope. Clearing the project logo causes that project to fall back to the workspace logo.
