Collections
Collections let you group related assets together for easier access and organization. They are created automatically when a generation run produces multiple outputs, and you can also create them manually to organize assets by campaign, theme, or any other criteria.
Creating Collections
Automatic Collections
When you run a generation workflow that produces multiple outputs, XainFlow automatically groups those outputs into a collection. This makes it easy to find all results from a specific run.
Manual Collections
- Navigate to Assets and select the Collections tab.
- Click New Collection.
- Give the collection a name and optional description.
- Click Create.
Managing Collection Contents
Once a collection exists, you can add or remove assets:
- Add assets -- open a collection and click Add Assets, then select items from your library.
- Remove assets -- select one or more assets within the collection and click Remove from Collection. This does not delete the assets themselves, only the association.
- Bulk operations -- select multiple assets to move or copy them between collections in a single action.
Using Collections in Workflows
You can reference an entire collection in Flow Studio to generate variations across all assets in the group. This is particularly useful for:
- Applying the same style to a batch of character images
- Running multi-angle generation across a set of product photos
- Generating consistent backgrounds for an entire campaign
Removing an asset from a collection does not delete the asset from your library. Collections are organizational references, not containers.
